What does "bespoke" really mean?
The word bespoke gets banded about quite freely, but what do we mean when we say that our kitchens are made bespoke for you? We manufacture our kitchen cabinets entirely in house in our workshop here in Lincolnshire. Every cupboard and drawer is built by us to fit your kitchen exactly. As we have no pre-designed ranges we can begin your kitchen design with a completely blank canvas, allowing us to create the kitchen that you have been dreaming of right down to the smallest detail. Our goal is for you to get exactly what you wanted and exceed your expectations, and we encourage you to be involved in the process from beginning to end.
How much do your kitchens cost?
Obviously this is quite a vague question, as there are so many variables to take in to account, and no two kitchens we manufacture are ever the same. We always try our very best to work within a budget framework for a project, and take a pragmatic approach to creating a design that works for you and your pocket. As a benchmark we would expect a small kitchen to cost somewhere between £10,000-£15,000 a medium kitchen £15,000-£20,000 and a large kitchen £20,000+. These prices would include all cabinetry and hardware, delivery, fitting and hand finishing, but would exclude appliances, third party building work and worktops. How long will making my kitchen take?
Once again there is no simple answer to this question, as all projects are different. As a rule, once a design has been finalised and a start date agreed, we expect an average kitchen to take 8-10 weeks in the workshop to manufacture. Installation will then tend to take another 1-2 weeks, partially depending on if there will be any hand painting done on site. If stone worktops are to be manufactured they will be templated at this point for machining. We will leave temporary work tops in place at this during this process, to allow you to carry on using your kitchen whilst we wait for the granite to be fitted.
What are your payment terms?
Our payment terms are very simple. Once you have decided you want us to make your kitchen, you will pay a 10% deposit which books your space in the workshop calendar. At this point a contract will be produced with a schedule of works, including start dates. Once we start to manufacture your kitchen a further 40% payment will be required. Once you kitchen is ready for delivery another 35% is payable before installation begins, with the remaining 15% due after our final inspection meeting, once you are completely satisfied. A full payment schedule will be supplied with the works contract and schedule.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Lincolnshire and mainly work within this and the surrounding counties. We do travel further afield, however we ask that for projects outside of a 60 mile radius from our workshop, we first have an over the phone consultation before meeting on site.
